I'm the 3rd Winner for SIM Casting Call 2011!

Guys, I wanna tell you that I was announced as the third winner for SIM Casting Call 2011! Wow. I was speechless. I was surprised. I couldn't believe it! It's a great feeling! :)

It started several months ago, when the poster below was announced everywhere in my campus! In the canteen, in the toilet, on the wall, everywhere. Until my friend, Valen, asked me to register this casting call together. She said, "I guess a kind of person like you can be one of the winners."



And yes, finally I decided to register and join this contest. I submitted my photo. And voting was started. For your information, all photos of SIM students who registered were uploaded on facebook, and people could their favorite ones by liking the photos. The more votes I get, the bigger my chance to be a winner.

Luckily, I also got very big supports from my relatives, family, and friends! They really helped me and promoted my photo to get more 'likes'. Have you ever seen this photo before? If so, you must be one of people who were asked to vote me, no matter you voted or not. haha! But I really thank God for I got great number of votes! 645 votes for me! It was amazing. I even never thought that I could get 3 digits of number for the votes. My brother's girlfriend, who was also very crazy in promoting me, told me after the voting time was closed that I was the third one with the biggest votes (and there would be 4 winners!). So I think it's great. But the winners were not 100% based on the votes. There were also some factors from internal judgements in deciding the winners. So anything could still happen! I still didn't expect too much.


And finally, 2 September 2010 became the day I was officially announced at the third winner! My photo was finally there, on the board for the winners! Actually someone has called me a night before the announcement, but she told me not to tell anyone so everybody could still expect to be the winner. hehe.


Most of all, being one of the SIM Casting Call's winners is really great! I met new people which are super friendly and interesting. I'm the one who represents my university in its marketing. And I got a watch from Nooka as the prize! Thank you Nooka. (I think the watch is a bit girly, so I gave it to my sister. haha.)

Last but not least, I wanna say thank you for everyone, including you (if you also voted me :p). Thank you very much for your votes, thank you very much for your support. One vote means a lot for me and I really appreciate every single vote given for my photo.

And I also want to say thank you for everyone who also promoted me like a crazy. You're great people behind the scenes, and I'm so lucky to have you!
